Use and Care for your HotMic

Your HotMic should provide years of service in your studio. When using the HotMic, please note the following:

-Keep out of hot vehicles or spaces! The HotMic is designed for studio use. It is made from plastic polymer materials designed to handle up to about 120ºF or about 50ºC. Prolonged exposure near or above those temperatures may result in warping/deforming.*

-Keep out of direct sunlight or UV lighting. Because of the material properties of the HotMic, it's important that you limit its exposure to UV light such as direct sunlight. The HotMics colors will fade over time with prolonged exposure.*

-Clean your HotMic with a dry microfiber cloth, taking care around small fragile components. If the HotMic is soiled with something that a microfiber cloth cannot clean, warm water and air-drying are recommended. Solvents, cleaners, or other potentially abrasive/caustic chemicals are not recommended.

*Should you need a version of your HotMic that withstands hotter temperatures and/or to be able to withstand UV exposure, contact us at info@hub-3d.com so we can discuss your needs and come up with a custom solution for you.
